2. What we collect and why

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run this site and respond to enquiries.

Contact & intake form

When you submit the contact form, the details you enter — typically your app name, growth challenge, download range, email address and any notes — are transmitted via our form provider FormSubmit (see Section 4) and delivered to us by email. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry (including a personalised video response) and to follow up about a potential engagement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and taking steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Server logs

Our hosting server may automatically record standard technical data (IP address, browser type, date and time of the request) for security and to operate the site reliably. This is based on our legitimate interest in the secure provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded via Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this site — pages viewed, and confirmed actions such as submitting the contact form or clicking through to book a call — so we can improve it over time. This only runs if you consent via the cookie banner described in Section 3. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3. Cookies

This website uses a consent management tool (Cookiebot) to ask for your permission before any non-essential cookie is set. Cookies on this site fall into four categories:

• Necessary — required for the site and the consent tool itself to work. Always active, no consent needed.
• Preferences — remember choices you make on the site. Not currently used.
• Statistics — Google Analytics 4, used to understand site usage as described above. Only set if you consent.
• Marketing — we do not use this to serve or target advertising; it exists because some Google measurement signals fall under this category by default. Also gated behind your consent.

Statistics and Marketing cookies are off by default and only activate if you accept them in the banner. You can review or change your choice at any time via cookie settings.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party providers, each under their own privacy policy: FormSubmit (forwards contact-form submissions to us by email), Calendly (if you book a call), Loom (if we send you a personalised video response), Google (Tag Manager and Analytics 4, only after consent — see Section 3), and Cookiebot (manages and records your cookie consent choices). We only share what is necessary for each purpose. The website itself is hosted on our own server.

5. How long we keep data

We retain enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting engagement, and to meet legal retention obligations, after which it is deleted.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email office@tap-convert.com.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website evolves. The current version is always available on this page.

This is a baseline policy for an EU business site. For a fully tailored version, a managed policy (e.g. iubenda or Termly) can be added later.
